Intel are cooked. they had a crazy long arcing plan to get back on top, which would require them to skip through a couple of generations of cpu production, where they would see heavy losses and a decline, it was all part of Pat Gelsinger’s plan apparently. …but it looks like they have bottled it. he’s just been fired. so likely Intel are just in for gradual decline from here on i guess?
might get some nice budget equipment or some other sector coming from them? will be vaguely interesting to see what happens with them. i was never going to buy Intel equipment again anyhow. free Palestine. no more Dell laptops either.
